How it Works

Simply put, Eluma is an electronic vaporizing device. What does it vaporize? The liquid which contains nicotine or no nicotine if you prefer. When the liquid is vaporized it creates a smoke like vapor. This vapor is then inhaled similar to smoke from a cigarette. The main difference is there's no tobacco so no tar, ash, odor or carcinogens. How are we so sure there's no carcinogens? We randomly test our products regularly using a 3rd party laboratory to ensure the highest quality control in this industry. No rogue ingredients will ever make its way into our product.

So how does it work? Part of Eluma is a battery that requires charging. It's screwed into the charger that comes with your kit. Once charged, Eluma will last you for hours of vaporizing pleasure. The other part is the cartridge that holds the liquid. Eluma's cartridges are designed to hold the most liquid possible to ensure long lasting use without the need to frequently change cartridges. A single Eluma cartridge will last the equivelant of a pack of cigarettes. That's 20 cigarettes!!!! When the cartridge is empty, little or no vapor will be produced. Simply pop the old cartridge off and place a new one on. Nothing complicated about cartridge changing, there's no fancy procedure. Simply pull one off and put another one in it's place.

DO's & DON'Ts - This section is to inform existing Eluma users of proper use & tips on how to extend the life of your Eluma components.

DON'Ts

1. Don't ever carry your Eluma Ecigarette ASSEMBLED. To be specific, you don't need to remove the cartridge from the atomizer, simply unscrew the atomizer/cartridge combo from the battery when carrying in your pocket, purse, bag, etc. This will prevent incidental activation from occurring while you are carrying the device.

2. Don't ever set your Eluma Ecigarette orientated with the LED end on an a downward angle. This is extremely important! Be aware there is liquid in the cartridge that is attached to the atomizer and if that liquid is coaxed out by gravity it will want to go somewhere. There are air holes in the atomizer and battery and guess where that liquid will go if it is not being vaporized? You guessed it...your battery. Liquid and batteries don't mix! It is always advised to unscrew the atomizer/cartridge from the battery when not in use and especially when carrying in a pocket, purse, bag, etc. in order to prevent any liquid from getting into the battery.

3. Don't allow any liquid to get into the battery! Frequent checks can go a long way in catching liquid before or immediately at the time it has made it's way into the battery. How? Unscrew the atomizer from the battery and look to see if there appears to be any liquid present on the battery contacts. If you see liquid present, clean both atomizer and battery contacts with a lint free cloth or paper towel(preferably with some hand sanitizer) and blow out the battery before reassembling. See the troubleshooting guide included with your Eluma Starter kit for instruction on how to perform this simple task.

4. Don't assemble your atomizer and battery if there is visible liquid present on the brass contacts. Always check for the presence of liquid. If you see any, clean it off with a lint free cloth or paper towel. A little dab of hand sanitizer goes a long way too! Hand sanitizer has alcohol in it which helps to free built up oxidation and also speeds up the drying process.

5. Don't attempt to charge an Epack while an Eluma Ecigarette battery is screwed into it. The Epack is a charging device that houses a 1000mah battery and will not charge if a battery is screwed into. You must charge the Epack by itself and once charging is complete you may then unplug and use to charge your Eluma Ecigarette batteries up to 6 times before the Epack itself needs recharging.

6. Don't continue to draw/inhale when the battery is flashing. This is a pretty obvious one! Doing so could cause the cartridge to leak and potential damage to your components. When the battery flashes it's telling you to SLOW DOWN or that it needs charging. The battery will shut down and flash after 60 seconds of continuous use in order to prevent over consumption. The battery will also flash in a more rapid fashion for a longer period of time when it needs charging.

7. Don't place opened cartridges or an atomizer with an opened cartridge attached in your Epack. They will surely leak and cause damage to your Epack. Clean your atomizer and blow out if necessary before placing into the Epack as this will eradicate any residual liquid and avoid leakage that could cause damage to your Epack.

8. Don't use Eluma with a dry atomizer or an atomizer that does not have a cartridge attached. New atomizers come shipped with a protective cap. THIS IS NOT A CARTRIDGE AND SHOULD BE DISCARDED. Be sure to install a new cartridge on the atomizer before attempting to use Eluma.

9. Don't ever attempt to charge Eluma batteries or Epack with a non-Eluma brand charger. Certain failure of your batteries will occur by attempting to use a non-Eluma brand charger with your Eluma batteries and/or Epack.

DO's

1. Do Clean your atomizer & battery's brass contact with a lint free cloth or paper towel and preferably a little dab of hand sanitizer especially before inserting into any Eluma charging aparatus. This will keep oxidation from transferring to the charger from the battery and allow for good contact from the battery to the charger. It will also increase your units performance and longevity.

2. Do infrequently blow out your atomizer. The operable word being "Infrequently", meaning this is only necessary if a cartridge is changed too soon or you find it hard to draw on. If a cartridge is changed too soon an excessive amount of liquid could get built up inside the atomizer chamber which causes blockage and poor performance. See the troubleshooting guide included with your Eluma Starter kit for instruction on how to perform this simple task.

3. DO draw on Eluma soft and slow. Unlike how you would typically draw on a cigarette, Hard and Fast, Eluma requires a slightly different approach. Drawing on Eluma much softer and for a longer period of time will give you much more satisfactory results.
